Views

This is my view of downtown KCMO every day. As I walk past this view every day, I can’t help but feel BLESSED. I’m currently working the night shift, and let me tell you IT. IS. HARD. Not the work itself but not being able to be with my family as much. But on the other hand, it’s a pretty awesome getaway. I’ve been a stay at home mom for about 4 years. So being able to ride in my car and listen to whatever music I like is amazing, as well as just being able to get out of the car and go without worrying about unbuckling a car seat! ( the simple things ya know) Also hearing “Mom” 5000 times a day instead of 10000 times gives you a little piece of mind.Transitioning  into a stay at home mom was a challenge for me in the beginning. Cook, clean, change diapers, breastfeed repeat. And if I’m being honest, in the beginning with 2 kids under the age of 3, there wasn’t a lot of cooking and cleaning going on. But that’s a whole other story! So now getting back into the work force and learning how to juggle it all, is my new challenge! A challenge that I embrace with very little sleep, but it’s still embraced!

Best shape of My Life

I decided this year I will work towards being in the best shape  EVER!When I work out I feel better and look better. My goal is to have the healthiest lifestyle possible. I’m over being up and down with my weight. I’m done with feeling depressed after leaving a fitting room because nothing worked! I’m also tired of starting over! Once I start to see the results I slack off and gain the weight back.I lose the muscle in my arms I got from all those push ups! And all those squats I clearly did in vain 😩! I’m completely over it! So I’ve got my Nikes on and I’m going to hit the ground running! #BeastmodeON
